| The article presents problems of the translation reception of a foreign culture code on the example of the analysis of nine translations of the Turgenev’s cycle «A Sportsman’s Sketches». The comparative contrastive analysis of the texts shows that such paratextual component as title of the cycle plays an important role in the implementation of communication and deciphering of codes of other cultures, which form an idea of the national mentality. |
