We present an analysis of the formation of cognitive technologies in education in the conditions of the "information revolution". To understand the role of cognitive technologies in the educational process, the authors examine the principle of digital projection, according to which each individual object or process in the material world can be assigned its own digital expression. Attention is also drawn to the fact that the world can be seen as a three-tier structure (physical, mental and organizational). The authors consider the use the PowerPoint program in the learning process.
