Abstract
The article summarizes the experience of implementing a project-based approach to teaching students in mixed groups. The possibilities of integrating this approach into the learning process are discussed, a comparison is made with international practice. An analysis is presented of the practice of introduction of this approach for the students of the final year of study. The conditions for its development are formulated. Some proposals are made regarding the evaluation of the effectiveness of the project-based training.
