Abstract
In this paper, specific features of the project-based method are discussed. The algorithm for implementation of project-based learning in the programs of higher professional education is identified. The experience of the project-based method application is summarized. Some peculiarities of organizing interdisciplinary projects for students in their final year of studies are highlighted.
